The III Galician Offshore International Hub was attended by more than 300 international professionals and Galician, Spanish and European companies. Attendees were able to visit Navantia’s facilities and participate in presentations given by various national and international experts. Significant data extracted from the event shows that between 2017 and 2020, around €24 billion will be mobilised and more than 287,000 jobs will be sustained, which will mean that there will be 600,000 jobs linked to this activity. The closing ceremony was attended by Francisco Conde, Regional Minister of Economy, Employment and Industry of the Xunta de Galicia, who positioned Galicia as ‘an international benchmark in the field of offshore wind energy’.
