With the participation of experts the key role of offshore wind in the energy transition, sustainability and economic growth of the sector will be discussed.

  • 09.30 a.m.: Flores Project | Oreskill Partnership

    2. Careers and partnerships in offshore renewable energies

    Addressed to the ORESkills and FLORES partners, but also to stakeholders willing to approach the group and contribute to improve the skills offer for the offshore renewables. We will showcase educational and awareness raising materials, and our community of users. Participants will be invited to share their insights on the revision of occupational profiles and barriers to participate in those multi-stakeholder groups. Language: English. Format: hybrid, in person and online.

  • 11.30 a.m.: Presentation of the shorewinner project

    1. Working Group 2

     

    The SHOREWINNER project aims to establish five Centres of Excellence in Vocational Training (CoVEs) in Southern European countries. Located in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece and Cyprus, they will collaborate to improve skills in the offshore wind energy value chain. This workshop will present the project, inviting attendees to join its Community of Practice in Galicia and the Canary Islands.

For the visit to Navantia, groups of 20/30 people per group will be established between 15:30 and 18:00. The visit will last approximately 45 minutes. The timetable will be sent by post to the address indicated in the registration form. Transport to the Navantia facilities will be at the expense of each attendee.
